My skin is very sensitive. My skin is very fair, and I had red hair as a toddler that gradually darkened into a very dark burgundy auburn by adolescence. Too much sun, dryer sheets, and perfumes in fabric softeners and detergents can make my skin flush red as a well cooked lobster. I do not pretend to have all the answers. You have to do the tedious work of eliminating suspects to really nail down your triggers. If you have some of the same problems, you might like to replace dryer sheets with unscented anti-static dryer balls and try fragrance free laundry detergent. Good luck. You are not alone.
On the lighter side, doesn’t Pearl look irritated by my camera flash awakening her. She looks very well against the backdrop of the floral bedspread in my guest room. I tried to get a picture of her sound asleep on the bed, but the flash rudely awakened her.
