As a caregiver, one sometimes feels more like a rather underpaid servant than a helpmate. I am constantly arranging pillows to support my husband's paralyzed arm, ease his back, or keep pressure off his heels. By necessity, the pillows must be toted between the livingroom and bedroom. One day, as I was feeling a bit sorry for myself, my sense of humor kicked in and presented to my mind’s eye an image of the servant who carried about all those piles of pillows for an Eastern Pasha’s cushy divan. This resulted in a cartoon.
