The cold weather has prompted me to paint the walls of our sitting room golden yellow. I used a scrubbed paint method that leaves the walls streaky, giving them some texture and depth. Maybe the sunny yellow glow will help chase away the winter blues. The color certainly makes the white wicker furniture stand out.

There is a slider to the backyard in the room and we have placed several birdfeeders in view. It is a great place for bird watching. My cats enjoy bird watching as much as we do. Cameo appears in the before picture.
